Tip of the Week

German Potato Soup (serves 8)
A basic soup which is easy to prepare and very satisfying.
Ingredients:
1/4 pound bacon
chopped 1 onion
peeled and chopped 10 cups chicken broth
4 cups chopped potatoes
1 cup fine egg noodles
Directions:
Fry bacon and onion. Add chicken broth and potatoes. Cook until tender, then add fine egg noodles. Simmer for 10 minutes. Serve hot. You can add franks or any other kind of sausage to the soup.
