August 13, 2010, Newsletter Issue #403: Bruecke Museum

Tip of the Week

The Bruecke Museum is an insiderīs tip, as it is located far away from Berlinīs other museums and never too cowded. It specializes in expressionist paintings by artists such as Emil Nolde and members of the īBruecke-groupī. Located near Grunewald (green forest), it is a good starting point for a trip around the Grunewald lake and forest. Expect to spend 1 hour in the exhibition.
Address: Bussardsteig 9, 14195 Berlin-Dahlem
(open daily 11 a.m. through 5 p.m., closed on Tuesdays)
